As promised, the King’s Horn was to be extended, yet in the end, the gift bestowed upon you is yourself.
Afterward,
Lu Ming and “Messiah” got into Rain’s special task vehicle together.
Other than Lu Ming exchanging a few words with “Messiah” from time to time,
the rest of the group remained utterly silent the whole way.
The Baiyi Little Girl was brought along as well, serving as the vessel for Silence.
Her parents had long since been tortured to death by Silence.
Not only did she have no home to return to,
she herself had been tormented by Silence to the point of developing mental issues, rendering her almost unable to care for herself.
She could only be taken back to the Containment Facility.

Very soon.
After passing through a series of security checks, the vehicle entered a special underground structure.
The building itself was endowed with some peculiar properties.
Faith gathered upon its surface, that was the power stemming from the Forbidden Object.
And now he finally understood how Forbidden Objects and Containment Items came to be.
They had nothing to do with the nonsense about pollution he had been told.
They were born from the Faith of the people; when that Faith reached a certain level, they would manifest.
But it seemed this only happened on Parallel Blue Star; in the Otherworld, he had never seen nor heard of such a thing.
Bean Record Lead Gold
This was something he would perhaps need to clarify further.
Soon, they arrived at the Containment Area.
Since he had come to scout in advance, he was already fairly familiar with the facilities here.
This was a holding area, both sides constructed from some very special material.
But none of the contained entities inside could be seen.

Seeing Lu Ming’s apparent curiosity as he observed his surroundings,
Rain quietly began to explain.
“Your Highness Watcher, because some special Containment Objects cannot be viewed directly, we simply designed the cells to be non-transparent, though they can be switched to visible manually if needed.”
Lu Ming nodded lightly, indicating his understanding.
“Your Highness, you give me the same feeling as my master, the Goddess of Life.”
Hearing Rain’s sudden remark, Lu Ming’s movements froze momentarily.
No way—he had clearly gone to great lengths to sever his connection with Rain, it shouldn’t be possible for her to sense anything.
“It’s because you’re both gentle and benevolent deities.”
At her words, Lu Ming’s eyelid twitched, but he merely responded with a quiet “Mm” without betraying any emotion.
***
Very soon, the group passed through the containment area.
Yet Lu Ming noticed he hadn’t seen many Containment Objects.
But on second thought, he understood.
It was impossible for all Containment Items to be locked up in one place; certain special ones must, of course, be confined in special ways.
Lu Ming observed as he walked.
Although he did not see a single guard, he could sense numerous eyes watching him.
***
Upon entering the Forbidden Object containment sector,
Lyle was the first to bid him farewell, stating he needed to return the two borrowed Forbidden Objects.
“Watcher, sir, I have some matters to attend to, so I’ll be leaving first.”
“Messiah” gave Lu Ming a rare smile and greeted him.
Then exited the Forbidden Object containment sector.
But Lu Ming clearly sensed that fellow merely walked to where he could not be seen, then stopped.
He hoisted the black coffin onto his shoulder.
A look as though guarding against him, not even bothering to conceal his presence.

“Respected Your Highness Watcher, I am the deputy director of the Strange Containment Facility. On behalf of humanity and all nations, I offer you our sincerest respect.”
An elderly man, leaning on a cane, walked toward Lu Ming from across the road.
At his side was only one person, dressed as Containment Personnel, cap pulled low, face hidden.
That Containment Personnel held a box in both hands; inside the box was Immortality.
Lu Ming’s expression turned deep, but he responded calmly.
“These words, I shall accept on behalf of the benevolent Gods. I hope you will always think so.”
He then took Immortality from the box.
Once he had confirmed it, he held it in his hands.
His expression grew complicated, making it hard to read what he was thinking.
“This is an item that ought not exist in this world. I shall seal it away with myself.”
“Remember, the radiance of the Gods will once again shine upon you.”
As he spoke,
Lu Ming held Immortality in his palm, pressing it to his chest.
Gentle Power of Divinity streamed out, enveloping Lu Ming’s entire being, as he slowly closed his eyes.
From the crown of his head, petrification began to spread over his body, until finally,
Lu Ming’s whole form became stone.
There was no more movement, nor any aura at all.
***
The old man silently watched this scene.
In his eyes was a glint of curiosity, mixed with respect and a trace of fear.
“Messiah” put down the coffin, then instantly flashed to the two men’s side.
“Indeed, I can no longer sense the Watcher’s presence.”
She gazed at the stone statue Lu Ming had created with divine power, a hint of disappointment in her eyes.
‘What a pity, now I can’t research him. Just now you should have ordered me to try and take him down.’
The old man and the Containment Personnel both gave her no reply.
“Messiah” simply lifted the unmoving statue with one hand and turned to head toward the Containment holding area.
***
Watching “Messiah” leave, only to instantly return,
the old man bowed deeply to the Containment Personnel holding the box.
“Teacher, did you see anything?”
The Containment Personnel, addressed as teacher, fell silent for a moment.
“Cannot believe entirely, nor completely doubt.”
“In the unknown, anything may happen.”
He curled his lips into a meaningful smile.
“These two ‘Gods’ of ‘ours’ seem to be rather ‘friendly’ toward humanity.”
“Record number: 006 Immortal Watch.”

In the spatial rift.
Lu Ming sped through, returning to the Otherworld, a smile of such excitement he almost seemed deranged on his face.
This trip to Blue Star had been bountiful beyond compare.
He’d reaped so much he could barely carry it all.
The endless Power of Divinity felt as if it would never run dry.
No matter how he squandered it, he couldn’t use it up; it made Lu Ming indulge himself for once.
He cast several layers of flashy concealment and protective divine arts upon himself.
When he finally returned to his lair,
Lu Ming at last let go of his last remaining worry.
The temple had been completely refurbished, with all sorts of odds and ends placed here.
Yet it still didn’t quite look like a true god’s temple.
Still, since Ilena and the others cared enough to do this, he was genuinely pleased.
In the future, Ilena, Naya, and Celia could become his trusted confidantes.
They would be the core members of his future Church—he should cultivate them well.
Lu Ming stroked his smooth, delicate chin and pondered for a moment.
Then began to sort through his harvest from this trip.
***
The surging divine power within him had greatly improved his mood.
What was once just the power of a newly-ascended demigod, now stood in the middle ranks of demigods.
He had gained over three million more followers in total.
Though most were believers in his Goddess of Life persona.
While Watcher had been fairly successful, the effect simply couldn’t compare to that of the Goddess of Life.
Perhaps, later, he could try to deepen the Goddess of Life’s benevolence to Parallel Blue Star.
However, such hands-on rescue missions were best not repeated.
A few more of these, and not only would the Blue Star people be tired of it—even he would get sick of it.
Perhaps it would be better to strengthen the connections among the believers on Parallel Blue Star.
Learning a bit from how the Gods founded their Churches wouldn’t be a bad idea.
