Colin stood in front of the mansion’s main gate, a headache forming as he recalled what Sifney had said.
He had originally planned to go out and buy clothes for Liyami but unexpectedly ran into Sifney and the others returning at the gate.
He explained Liyami’s situation to them, hoping they could lend a hand.
Unexpectedly, Sifney said that the Demon Clan Remnant Alec had ended up self-destructing, and she had never heard of any magic circle that could turn a male into a female.
Just as Colin was troubled about what to do next, the Lord of Kit City suddenly contacted him via Communication Magic, saying the previous high-risk incident hadn’t been fully resolved yet.
So Colin had no choice but to handle that event first and handed the task of buying clothes to Sifney and the others.
Now, Colin had already dealt with the remaining dangers from the last incident and stood in front of the mansion’s gate, pondering how to resolve Liyami’s predicament.
“This won’t do. If it’s just me, no matter how hard I think, I won’t come up with anything. I’d better discuss it with them together.”
Colin steadied himself and opened the gate, stepping inside.
“I’m back. Liyami, you’re okay, right?”
But the moment Colin entered, he noticed something was off.
Hearing Colin’s voice behind her, Liyami froze completely.
She had planned to use this opportunity to tease Eleanor and Lavinia a bit—after all, she hadn’t fully forgiven them for buying her a Maid Outfit.
But she didn’t expect Colin to come back right then.
So Liyami awkwardly stood there, unsure of what to do.
She didn’t dare turn around just yet; she wasn’t ready to face Colin looking like this.
Just as Liyami thought she couldn’t just stand there any longer, she heard Colin’s puzzled voice behind her.
“Strange, wasn’t this mansion just given to me recently by the Kingdom? I don’t recall hiring any maids. Did you hire them?”
Colin walked over to the sofa, looking questioningly at Eleanor and Lavinia.
But to his surprise, neither answered.
Eleanor covered her face with both hands, unable to bear looking in his direction, while Lavinia covered her mouth with one hand and her belly with the other, as if she was about to burst out laughing.
Colin looked at them in confusion, unable to understand their strange behavior.
He then glanced back at the black-haired maid.
Although she had her back turned to him, Colin could tell from her silhouette that she was definitely a beauty.
Yet for some reason, Colin felt a strange familiarity.
“Strange…where have I seen her before? Why does she feel so familiar? But I don’t remember ever seeing a maid like this…Hmm…If Liyami wore this, she’d definitely look gorgeous. Haha, what am I thinking? Liyami in a Maid Outfit? That can’t be…”
Colin suddenly had a terrifying suspicion.
He looked the maid over again, and the more he looked, the more she seemed like Liyami.
Finally, he couldn’t hold back and asked,
“Brother, is that you?”
Lavinia couldn’t contain her laughter any longer and burst out laughing loudly.
Eleanor buried her face even deeper.
Hearing Colin’s question and Lavinia’s wild laughter behind him, Liyami slowly turned around and gave Colin a stiff smile.
“It’s me, your most trusted brother, Liyami.”
Colin was stunned by Liyami’s appearance—not by her words, but by how cute she looked wearing the Maid Outfit.
So beautiful, so adorable.
Colin thought instinctively.
Before Colin could fully appreciate Liyami’s cuteness, the next development confused him again.
“Hahaha, Maid-san, why don’t you greet properly? Hurry up and say ‘Welcome back, Lord Colin!’ And why aren’t you serving him tea? ⊙ Hurry and pour some black tea for our great Saint Knight!”
Lavinia was laughing so hard her stomach hurt.
Colin noticed Liyami’s face darkening with every word from Lavinia.
She took a deep breath and then, in the blink of an eye, lunged at Lavinia.
Before Lavinia could react, Liyami stabbed a suspicious syringe into Lavinia’s shoulder.
“Wishing you good health, dear Lady Lavinia.”
Lavinia’s laughter immediately stopped.
The two locked eyes silently, and Lavinia trembled slightly as she said, “Didn’t you say you didn’t have a second syringe?”
Liyami quickly stepped away from Lavinia and then sweetly replied, “That’s right, there’s only one for the Constipation Cure. So this one isn’t for constipation—it’s a Toxin Expulsion Potion.”
She pointed to her own face and stuck out her tongue.
“It expels toxins through the mouth.”
Seeing this, Lavinia tried to say something else, “You…ugh,” but as soon as she opened her mouth, she felt something rising up her throat.
She quickly covered her mouth with both hands and ran wildly to the bathroom.
Colin watched all this unfold, speechless.
He could only turn to Liyami and ask, “That potion…shouldn’t be a big problem, right?”
“Don’t worry, Lord Colin. It’s just a potion to keep the body healthy.”
Liyami gave Colin a sweet smile.
Colin felt a chill run down his spine from that smile.
Just as he was about to say something, he heard noises from the bathroom.
“Huh? Lavinia?! Don’t come in yet! I’m still…!”
Bang!
Ugh!!!
“Lavinia!!! Are you crazy?! You’re vomiting on me!!!”
Hearing Lavinia’s retching and Sifney’s shrieks from inside the bathroom, Colin swallowed his words.
After a while, Colin looked at the silent Liyami, who was sipping her tea, while the sounds of vomiting and screams continued from the bathroom.
He finally decided to break the silence.
“Liyami, how are you feeling?”
“Feeling? About what?”
“About being a woman now. Are you adapting?”
Colin carefully observed her expression but saw no change.
“Not bad, I guess. I’m not missing any limbs. Anyway, since I can’t change back right now, I have to get used to it.”
Hearing this, Colin relaxed slightly.
It seemed Liyami wasn’t as unable to accept it as he had feared.
Before he could say more, Liyami suddenly asked, “By the way, what do you think of me wearing a Maid Outfit now?”
Liyami’s question caused Colin’s brain to short-circuit.
He couldn’t quite understand why she suddenly jumped to that topic.
But since she asked, he had to answer.
After a moment of intense thought, Colin gave what he thought was the best response.
“You don’t look human at all.”
“Haha.”
Liyami laughed, clearly amused.
