“Hello, this is your Mont Blanc and black tea.”
Aimoer sat in the largest dessert shop in Purification City, propping her chin with a smile as she gazed at Sentley.
The small sweets had been on the table for a while, but she had rarely touched them.
Six years had passed.
This was the first time she had gone out shopping and eating with Sentley.
‘Is this kind of like a date?’
The word suddenly popped into Aimoer’s mind, and the smile at the corners of her mouth grew even wider.
‘How would a pure and adorable child like that act at a time like this?’
She licked her lips, scooped a large spoonful of jam, and poured it into the black tea, then stirred quickly.
Once the jam dissolved, she brought the spoon to her lips, stuck out her tongue, and licked off the remaining jam, revealing an extremely satisfied expression.
“The flavor here seems a bit sweeter than the one at the entrance to the monastery.”
Aimoer took a light sip of black tea, rolled her eyes, and revealed a mischievous smile behind the cup.
“Really? Really?”
Sentley’s eyes sparkled.
She clasped her hands together, made a simple pre-meal prayer, then rubbed her hands together, ready to start enjoying.
Aimoer naturally couldn’t just eat the pastry quietly.
She reached out, took Sentley’s spoon, twirled it between her fingers, and in the midst of her puzzled and curious gaze, scooped up a small piece of cake.
Then she leaned forward, grinning as she met her eyes.
“Here, let me feed you. Open wide—ah—”
Aimoer added a hint of charm to her voice.
Since she was already wearing gloves, she had to do something that crossed the line.
Once she custom-made the soft armor, she would find a way to push her down.
That flavor must be tempting.
Aimoer was indulging in fantasy when she suddenly remembered she was already a pitiful pauper.
For a moment, her mood dropped, and her tail drooped listlessly.
‘Aaaaaagh, damn witch! She actually stole my rich-demon life. Unforgivable!’
Aimoer mentally slapped herself in annoyance, then refocused her attention on teasing Sentley.
Since it had come to this, she would first savor the deliciously shy expression of the saintess.
Aimoer brought the spoon to her lips, her face beaming with a smile, as if to say, [Today, I’ve got you for sure.]
But unexpectedly, Sentley did not blush and act shyly as she had imagined.
Instead, she revealed a bright smile and, without hesitation, gobbled it up in one big gulp.
‘Not even… a reaction at all!’
Aimoer suddenly felt a hint of surprise.
Watching Sentley’s expression of heartfelt joy, she felt a tiny pang of guilt.
‘She earnestly expects me to feed her, and here I am with nothing but dirty thoughts in my head. How can I do this?’
Aimoer suddenly felt like slapping herself twice.
The true saintess was such a pure and beautiful existence that even harboring a little ill intent toward her made one feel guilty.
She scooped another small piece of Mont Blanc and handed it to Sentley’s lips.
Leaving aside other matters, even this genuinely delighted and satisfied expression was super healing!
It truly embodied the meaning of “a feast for the eyes.”
Aimoer watched her devour each bite she fed her—the look of pure joy from the bottom of her heart making Aimoer’s spirit waver.
Only after a long while did she suddenly come to her senses.
‘Wait, wasn’t I supposed to be gathering information here?’
‘How did I let beauty blind me?
I don’t even know what I’m supposed to do.’
So she cleared her throat and forcefully steered the conversation back on track.
“Speaking of which, are you sure your body is really okay now?”
That was a bit too forced.
Aimoer complained internally, but still kept a smiling expression.
“I’m really fine. I’m very healthy.”
Sentley puffed out her chest.
Its size looked a bit pitiful.
Aimoer looked her up and down.
It was a bit barren, but still enough to look at.
“Still, can I be curious about one thing?”
“What does El want to know?”
“How did you manage to survive that explosion almost unscathed?”
Sentley was stunned for a moment, her face slightly red, and she fidgeted with her fingers shyly.
“Well… I’m not really sure either.”
Sentley extended her fingers and gestured awkwardly.
“I just put up a really big Holy Shield and rushed up there. I didn’t think I could actually withstand it. Actually, I was ready to die.”
Sentley added in a small voice.
“I thought I would never get to see El again.”
As touching as the words were, Aimoer, who had top-tier public relations instincts, keenly detected the scent of a lie.
‘This young lady seems to be hiding quite a few things.’
“Is that so? Then promise me you won’t do that again next time. You have to ensure your own safety first.”
Aimoer patted her head.
The other rubbed it contentedly against her palm, softly agreeing.
This obedient, flirty look melted Aimoer’s heart.
‘Damn, how much longer until I can taste her?’
Aimoer felt an unbearable itch, but she still had to endure it for now.
Until she obtained the Holy Light–Proof Soft Armor, Sentley would remain a non-romanceable target.
Aimoer retracted her hand, ate the small pastry in front of her, and then asked.
“Speaking of which, I heard from the Bishop that there’s some very troublesome problem west of Purification City. Do you know what it is?”
“Huh? Not really. I only heard that the Seven Witches of the Human Race in the Doomsday Era live to the west of Purification City.”
Sentley bit her finger and thought for a moment before answering.
“Is that so?”
Aimoer took a sip of black tea, her fingers tapping rhythmically on the table.
The Seven Witches: seven rare magical geniuses of the continent, unfortunately exiled by the human race for various reasons.
When the Demon God finally attacked humanity, they stepped forward, sacrificing themselves in exchange for several Demon Gods’ lives, successfully stifling the Demon God’s offensive against the human race.
As a result, the Seven Witches were no longer taboo among humans.
In the central plaza of Purification City, there were even statues of them.
‘Could that mysterious girl be related to the Seven Witches?’
During the Doomsday era, Aimoer had never heard of or seen any disciples or similar beings of the Seven Witches.
‘Perhaps I should find an opportunity to ask Aurora about this. As one of the Ten Demon Generals under the previous generation Demon King Sula, she should be more knowledgeable about this kind of information.’
“Is El having some trouble?”
Sentley’s concerned expression made Aimoer smile softly and answer gently.
“It’s nothing, just curious. Come on, where else do you want to go?”
She stood up, reached out her hand to Sentley, and invited her with a charmingly seductive smile.
Sentley was stunned for a moment, then her eyes lit up.
She took Aimoer’s hand, looking at her expectantly.
“Then… anywhere is fine! El decides. I’m okay with anything.”
“Oh? Then I’ll go by my own wishes.”
Aimoer took her hand and walked out of the cafe.
She planned to first visit the plaza in Purification City, take the chance to find the blacksmith’s location, then stop by the church here, and finally buy some small accessories to give her as a perfect end to this trip.
Almost no expense, just pure wandering, yet she could still create a decent seduction effect.
She felt the coins in her pocket.
There were four gold coins and nine silver coins left.
That was more than enough as funds to seduce the saintess.
Aimoer was fantasizing about the upcoming sweet schedule.
Just as she was about to step forward, her vision suddenly darkened.
She looked up.
A tall, imposing knight stood in front of the two, suddenly took off his helmet, and bowed slightly to them.
“Miss Aimoer, Miss Sentley, the Bishop has urgent business with you both.”
