Lilia was being half-carried by Lilith as she was dragged out from under that starry sky.
The sharp pain of being crushed by the weight of the world still lingered in her body.
But her mind was entirely occupied by Lucia’s comment about her being a “favorite concubine.”
The sense of humiliation made her entire body flush.
‘This perverted Demon King, what new tricks is she trying to play now?!’
Returning to the familiar bathroom, Lilia let out a long sigh of relief as her body sank into the warm water.
She closed her eyes, sensing the changes within her body.
The next second, she snapped her eyes open.
The world was different!
It was no longer a vague state of moving magic power by feel.
Now, she could “see” it.
She saw the invisible magic power in the air, and it was no longer a mess of chaotic particles.
Instead, it was connected and supported by invisible networks.
‘Is this the essence of space?’
Lilia tried to extend her will.
She issued a command to a “node” on the other end of the bathtub.
—Agitate it.
*Splash!*
A circle of water exploded at the far end of the tub.
Lilia’s eyes widened in pleasant surprise.
She hadn’t moved; her hands and feet were still soaking in the water.
Yet, she could manipulate the water on the other side from a distance!
‘This is Fourth Tier! My will can directly grab and knead everything in this world!’
Her playfulness was piqued, and her spirit force began darting wildly around the bathtub.
*Splash! Bang! Splash!*
The surface of the entire bathtub erupted with sprays of water one moment and swirled into vortices the next.
“Hahaha, meow!”
She couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
The frustration and anger from being crushed by Lucia earlier had mostly dissipated.
‘Power! As long as I have power! One day, I’ll pin that perverted woman to the ground and let her taste what it feels like to be unable to resist!’
Just as she was having the time of her life, a pair of hands wearing white gloves began to wash her long silver hair.
It was Lilith.
Lilia’s laughter died down.
Her fur instinctively stood on end as she sensed her surroundings warily.
Something was wrong.
This woman’s movements were too light.
They were completely different from her usual precise and efficient style.
Today, her actions were incredibly gentle, each touch filled with caution.
Lilia turned her head and glared at her suspiciously.
Lilith still wore that same expressionless face, but Lilia sensed that she was different.
Being stared at like that made Lilia’s skin crawl, and she couldn’t help but speak up.
“What are you looking at? Is there something on my face? Meow?”
“No, Miss.”
Lilith’s answer was as brief as ever, but her voice made Lilia freeze.
It was no longer that flat, robotic tone.
Instead, it carried a soft inflection?
‘This woman is definitely not normal today!’
Lilia had no way of knowing that just moments ago, in that starry sky bath, at the very moment Lucia used the weight of an entire world to slap her onto the ground, Lilith—the only bystander—had nearly lost control of her own magic power out of sheer terror.
She had sensed it.
Her Majesty’s aura had experienced a brief but genuine fluctuation.
It wasn’t a depletion of power, but a “response.”
Gods look down upon all things and never change because of a mortal’s provocation.
But just now, in order to suppress this little creature, Her Majesty had personally mobilized the Authority of Laws that belonged to her.
This, in itself, was an acknowledgment.
An acknowledgment that this little one’s attack had moved beyond the realm of “playing around.
” It was something worthy of a God personally stepping in to “extinguish.”
This realization overturned everything Lilith had known for three hundred years.
She looked at the little creature in front of her who was playing happily in the water and seemed completely non-threatening.
This being, whom Her Majesty treated as a pet, was growing at a lightning pace.
She was going to become a monster capable of shaking a God.
Lilith’s movements became even lighter.
She helped Lilia wash her long hair and dried it with magic.
Then, she picked up a jade comb and brushed it strand by strand.
Her movements were solemn, as if she were afraid that using too much force would break a hair.
She wasn’t treating her like a pet.
Lilith went silent again, simply watching her.
Lilia felt extremely uncomfortable under her gaze and finally couldn’t take it anymore.
“What on earth are you looking at! Meow!”
Lilith’s movements stopped.
She looked at Lilia’s pouting face and suddenly spoke.
“You were… very impressive just now.”
Her voice was low, but very clear.
Lilia was about to throw a tantrum, but hearing those words, she completely froze.
“Huh? What did you say? Meow?”
She picked at her ear, suspecting she had misheard.
Was this ice-block Head Maid actually praising her?
“I said, you were very impressive just now,” Lilith repeated, her tone even more sincere than before.
“You are the first being in three hundred years who could force Her Majesty to use the Authority of Laws.”
Lilia was completely stunned.
Immediately after, wild joy and smugness rushed to her head! She stood up from the bathtub with a *swish*.
She put her hands on her hips and raised her chin high.
Even her tail wagged proudly behind her.
“Of course! Meow! Who do you think this Miss is?!”
“If it weren’t for that pervert cheating and flipping the table by using those laws, I wouldn’t have lost! Meow!”
She waved her small fists and announced aggressively, “You just wait and see! I’m only at Fourth Tier!”
“Once I reach Fifth Tier… no, Sixth Tier! I’m definitely going to pin her to the ground and make her kneel and sing ‘Conquered’ for me! Meow!”
If it had been any other time, Lilith would have expressionlessly reminded her to “watch her words” after such treasonous talk.
But today, Lilith just listened quietly.
Then, she responded softly with a tone of certainty, “I believe you, Miss.”
“…”
Lilia’s next prepared boast got stuck right in her throat.
She stared blankly at Lilith.
‘Be… believe me?’
Lilia’s brain completely stalled.
*Grumble—*
A loud sound broke the eerie atmosphere.
Lilia’s stomach let out a massive protest.
Breaking through from Third Tier to Fourth Tier, and then being crushed by the weight of the world by Lucia in between, had completely drained the energy from her body.
She had been too busy being excited and angry just now.
Now that she had relaxed, an intense hunger hit her, drowning her senses.
Whatever grand ambitions or God-slaying reversals she had planned were no longer important.
Lilia’s face turned bright red.
She clutched her stomach.
One second she was a world-conquering Avenger, and the next she was a pitiful little glutton.
“I-I’m hungry…” she muttered softly.
Then, her intense craving overwhelmed all her shame.
“I want to eat meat! Meow!”
She shouted at Lilith.
“I want super big chunks of meat! The kind that’s charred on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside!”
“And dessert! I want a strawberry cream cake piled high! A super large portion! Meow!”
Lilith looked at her current state, where she was almost drooling from hunger.
The lines on her expressionless face softened slightly.
She nodded, her professional demeanor quickly returning.
“I understand, Miss. You have just promoted to Fourth Tier, so your body requires a large supplement of high-quality energy.”
She bowed slightly, her voice respectful.
“Ordinary ingredients can no longer satisfy your needs. I will go to the kitchen and request for you…”
Lilith paused and said a word that made Lilia’s eyes bulge.
“…Dragon meat.”
“Dra… Dragon meat?! Meow?!”
Lilia’s cat ears stood straight up, and her voice cracked as she yelled.
Wasn’t that something that only existed in legends?!
The old monsters of the Dragon’s Spine were beings that even Lucia tacitly agreed not to interfere with!
And she wanted to eat their meat?!
“Yes, dragon meat,” Lilith confirmed calmly.
“Marinated in top-tier Blood Honey sent from the Bloodstained Plains. Then, the Flame Demon Lord from the Ironblack Mountains will personally control the fire to roast it. This is currently the most suitable ingredient to replenish your energy.”
Lilia couldn’t even hear the words that followed.
There was only one thought in her mind.
Dragon meat… she was going to eat dragon meat!
How delicious would that be?! All her resentment and frustration were washed away in an instant by her endless longing for gourmet food.
Without thinking, she lunged out of the bathtub with her bare feet.
She grabbed Lilith’s leg and rubbed her cheek against it vigorously.
“Sister Lilith! You are my god! Meow!”
