“No…”
“Elder Sister, I’ll be good. I’ll be obedient from now on. I won’t go anywhere. I’ll stay right here.”
“Please don’t abandon me, please…”
“Stop crying!”
Ye Moran spoke coldly, pulling out her mobile phone and opening an app she hadn’t touched in a long time.
“Elder Sister, I—ugh!”
Su Ling was cut off mid-sentence as a current of electricity suddenly spread from his neck. His body stiffened, and he lost all consciousness in an instant.
“Phew—”
Ye Moran let out a heavy breath. Fortunately, this collar also had an electric shock coma function. As long as the voltage was set correctly, it could knock someone out instantly! Otherwise, she really wouldn’t have known how to take the little fellow away. After all, her heart had softened a bit when he cried and begged for mercy just now.
Ye Moran walked over to the little fellow, wiped away his tears, and placed a gentle kiss on his forehead.
“I’m sorry, little fellow. Don’t worry, it won’t be long before I come for you. When that time comes, I will love you properly!”

Su Ling woke up in a daze, met by an unfamiliar room. Tears flowed uncontrollably as he stumbled out of bed, wanting to find something.
However, the house was fully equipped with furniture, decorations, kitchenware, and incense—it even had a studio. But his elder sister was nowhere to be found. He refused to give up, not daring to believe that his elder sister had truly abandoned him!
He saw the door and rushed out without hesitation. The moment he opened it, his heart sank. The door opened easily, which meant this wasn’t a new cage! His elder sister might really not want him anymore!
But he still didn’t give up, stumbling downstairs. There were no familiar people, no sign of his sister, and no one to rely on. He instinctively wanted to curl up, slowly crouching down to hug himself tightly. Tears fell silently, drop by drop, onto his body.
Elder Sister really didn’t want him anymore.
Passersby looked at him in surprise. A few people wanted to come over, but the moment they made a move, their path was blocked by several people hidden in the shadows.
Gu Qingyuan was in a terrible mood today. She had just had a massive argument with her parents, and since she couldn’t go home, she had to retreat to her small apartment for now. She figured she would go back and coax the two elders once they had calmed down. With that thought, her mood brightened slightly.
However, the moment she stepped through the apartment’s main entrance, her attention was immediately captured by a figure!
‘Is that…?’ The image of that little thing from that night instantly surfaced in her mind. ‘It’s him.’
Why would he be here? And it looked like he was crying. Wasn’t he one of Ye Moran’s people?
Driven by curiosity and doubt, she began to walk toward him. But she had only taken a single step when someone stepped out from a corner and approached her, seemingly by accident. She stopped, staring at the person in front of her with confusion.
“Miss Gu, CEO Ye ordered us to watch over him. No one is allowed to get close. Please don’t make things difficult for us.”
Gu Qingyuan raised an eyebrow and glanced at the little fellow. Her lips curled into a smirk, and she shrugged helplessly.
“Fine, I won’t interfere. Please move aside; I’m going upstairs!”
The man hesitated for a moment before stepping back. As he moved, a flash of coldness appeared in the depths of Gu Qingyuan’s eyes, but she quickly and calmly hid it. She walked past Su Ling with a light step, not even giving him a single glance.
Su Ling didn’t notice her; he was immersed in his own world. After an unknown amount of time, he felt a chill and belatedly began to observe his surroundings.
Everything was quiet, and there wasn’t a soul around. He stood up, but he had no idea where he should go. Having run out in such a hurry, he didn’t even know which floor the apartment was on; he only remembered that he hadn’t closed the door when he left.
Thinking of this, he headed toward the stairs. He would have to climb up floor by floor. Whichever room had an open door was likely his. He searched floor by floor and finally found an open door on the eighth floor.
But looking at the door, he still didn’t dare enter on a whim. What if it wasn’t his room? What if someone else had simply forgotten to close their door just like him? He hesitated for a long time and decided to wait and see. If no one came out to close it and no lights were turned on, it might be his room.
With that thought, he slowly huddled into the corner and waited quietly. He waited for a very, very long time, falling asleep several times in the process. There was no sound from inside, no lights were turned on, and no one came to close the door.
Su Ling felt that this must be his room and slowly walked inside. But he was still uneasy and searched the room thoroughly, looking for any sign of another person. After a full search, he found no one, but he found something that proved this was his room—the studio!
Not only that, but several of the paintings he had done before were inside. Although they looked like a mess, it was enough to prove this was his room!
Once he was certain, he immediately ran to the door and shut it with a bang! But the moment he closed it, a figure entered his peripheral vision—a woman dressed in black athletic wear, staring deeply at the room.
The moment the door closed, Su Ling relaxed completely. But looking at the empty room, his mood turned somber again. Elder Sister didn’t want him, and he would have to live in this room from now on… but he wasn’t prepared at all to live by himself. He didn’t know how to do anything. He couldn’t take care of himself at all. If he stayed here alone, he would probably starve to death.
Thinking this, he walked back to the bedroom, wanting to hide under the covers for a moment of peace. But as soon as he pushed open the door, he was startled because there was a figure in the room!
Seeing the little fellow come in, Gu Qingyuan looked up and flashed what she considered a very kind smile. Su Ling’s body shook, and he turned to run, but after only a few steps, he felt a violent tugging sensation on his scalp!
“Ugh—ah!”
He let out a painful scream. His back hit the ground as he was slammed down with a loud bang!
“Tsk, why are you running? See, you fell and hurt yourself because you ran.”
Gu Qingyuan leaned down and scooped Su Ling up. Ignoring his struggles, she walked back into the room and threw him forcefully, sending him sprawling across the bed! Just as he was about to scramble away, his neck was pinned down firmly.
“Behave!”
“My patience has limits. A piece of trash played with and discarded by Ye Moran has no right to resist!”
“It’s your good fortune that I’ve taken an interest in you, do you understand?”
“Follow me from now on and be good. After all, I don’t have the patience to comfort you, my—Young Master Ye Jin!”
