“Don’t…”
“Elder Sister, I’ll be good. I’ll listen from now on. I won’t go anywhere; I’ll stay right here.”
“Please don’t abandon me, please…”
“Stop crying!”
Ye Moran spoke coldly. She directly pulled out her mobile phone and tapped on an App she hadn’t opened in a long time.
“Elder Sister, I — ugh!”
Before Su Ling could finish his sentence, a current of electricity suddenly surged from the collar around his neck. His body went rigid, and he lost all consciousness in an instant.
“Whew — “
Ye Moran let out a heavy sigh. Fortunately, this collar was equipped with an Electric Shock Coma Function. As long as the voltage was adjusted correctly, it could render someone unconscious in a heartbeat! Otherwise, she really wouldn’t have known how to take the Little Fellow away. After all, her heart had begun to soften the moment he started crying and begging for mercy.
Ye Moran walked to the Little Fellow’s side, wiped away his tears, and gently pressed a kiss onto his forehead.
“I’m sorry, Little Fellow. Don’t worry, it won’t be long before I come to find you. When that time comes, I will make sure to love you properly!”

Su Ling woke up in a daze, his eyes meeting an unfamiliar room. Tears fell uncontrollably as he stumbled out of bed, searching for something — anything.
The house was fully furnished with furniture, decorations, kitchenware, and aromatherapy. There was even a studio, but Elder Sister was nowhere to be found. He refused to give up, refusing to believe that she had actually abandoned him! He spotted the front door and rushed out without hesitation.
The moment he opened the door, his heart sank. The door had been easily opened, which meant this was not a new cage! ‘Maybe Sister really doesn’t want me anymore!’
Still, he did not give up and stumbled down the stairs. There wasn’t a single familiar face, no sign of Elder Sister, and nothing else. He instinctively wanted to curl into a ball, slowly crouching down to hug himself tightly. Tears slid down silently, dripping onto his body one by one.
Elder Sister really didn’t want him.
Passersby stared at him in surprise. A few people tried to approach, but as soon as they made a move, their path was blocked by people hidden in the shadows.
Gu Qingyuan was in a terrible mood today. She had just had a major fight with her parents and couldn’t go home, so she had to hide away in her small apartment for the time being. She would go back to coax the two elders once they had calmed down. Thinking this, her mood brightened slightly.
However, the moment she stepped into the apartment lobby, her attention was instantly captured by a figure!
‘Is that…?’ The image of that little thing from that night flashed through her mind. ‘It’s him.’
Why was he here? And by the look of it, he was crying. Wasn’t he one of Ye Moran’s people?
Driven by curiosity, she started to walk toward him. But she had only taken one step when a man stepped out from a corner, approaching her seemingly by accident. She stopped and stared at the man with a strange expression.
“Miss Gu, CEO Ye ordered us to watch over him here. No one is permitted to approach him. Please don’t make things difficult for us.”
Gu Qingyuan raised an eyebrow and glanced at the Little Fellow. A smirk played on her lips as she shrugged helplessly. “Fine, then I won’t interfere. Move aside, I’m going upstairs!”
The man hesitated for a moment before stepping back. Seeing him move, a flash of coldness crossed Gu Qingyuan’s eyes, but she quickly hid it. She walked past Su Ling with a light, indifferent step, not even sparing him a glance.
Su Ling didn’t notice her either; he was completely immersed in his own world. After an unknown amount of time, Su Ling felt a chill and belatedly began to observe his surroundings. It was quiet, and there wasn’t a soul around. He stood up, but he didn’t know where to go. He had run out in such a hurry that he didn’t even know which floor the apartment was on; he only remembered that he hadn’t closed the door when he left.
Thinking of this, he walked toward the stairwell. He would have to climb up floor by floor to see which room had an open door — that would be his. He searched floor after floor, finally finding an unclosed door on the eighth floor.
Looking at the door, he still didn’t dare to enter recklessly. What if it wasn’t his room? What if someone else had simply forgotten to close their door? He stood in place for a long time, hesitating, and decided to wait and see. If no one came out to close it and no lights were turned on, it might actually be his.
With that thought, he slowly shrank into a corner of the hallway and waited quietly. He waited for a very long time, falling asleep several times in the process. There was no movement in the room, no lights were switched on, and no one came out to close the door.
Su Ling felt more certain that this was his room and slowly walked inside. Still uneasy, he searched the room thoroughly, looking for any sign of another person. After a full circuit, he didn’t find anyone, but he did find something that proved this was his room — the studio!
Not only that, but several of the paintings he had previously worked on were inside. Although the place looked like a mess, it was enough to prove it was his! Once he confirmed it, he immediately ran to the entrance and closed the door with a loud *bang*!
But the moment he shut the door, a figure was already inside the room. A woman dressed in black tactical gear glanced deeply at the door.
The moment the door closed, Su Ling felt his entire body relax. But looking at the empty apartment, his mood turned somber again. Elder Sister didn’t want him, and he would have to live in this room from now on… but he wasn’t prepared to live alone at all. He didn’t know how to do anything. ‘If I stay here alone, I’ll probably starve to death.’
Worrying about this, he walked back toward the bedroom, wanting to hide under the covers for a moment of peace. But the moment he pushed the bedroom door open, he jumped in fright. There was a figure in the room!
Seeing the Little Fellow enter, Gu Qingyuan looked up and flashed what she thought was a kind smile. Su Ling’s body trembled, and he turned to run. But he had only taken a few steps when a violent tearing sensation erupted from his scalp!
“Ugh — ah!”
He let out a painful scream. His back hit the floor as he was violently jerked down. A loud *thud* echoed through the room!
“Tsk, why are you running? Look at you, you fell and hurt yourself because you ran.”
Gu Qingyuan leaned down and scooped Su Ling up. Ignoring his struggles, she walked back into the bedroom and threw him forcefully onto the bed. Just as he tried to scramble up to flee, his neck was pinned down firmly.
“Behave yourself!”
“My patience is limited. A toy that Ye Moran has already played with and discarded has no right to resist!”
“It’s your good fortune that I’ve taken an interest in you, understand?”
“From now on, follow me and be good. After all, I don’t have the temperament to comfort you, my… Little Young Master Ye Jin!”
