It was a letter of authorization.
The letter did more than just list all the “good deeds” Penelope had recently performed for Su Mengdie.
It concluded by invoking the authority of the Chief Steward, instructing her to properly discipline Penelope on his behalf…
Staring at the letter in her hands, Su Mengdie looked up suspiciously.
“Head Maid, do you have any thoughts on this letter?”
Although it wasn’t explicitly stated, Su Mengdie had a feeling the Chief Steward likely knew about their Body Swap.
Many details in the letter were written with such precision it was as if he had witnessed them with his own eyes.
If that were the case, the Chief Steward might have even overheard their private conversations…
“My apologies, Young Lady. I misunderstood you. I didn’t know Su Mengdie had done so many outrageous things to you. Please, forgive me.”
It seemed the Head Maid hadn’t noticed anything unusual.
However, based on her attitude, she was now firmly on Su Mengdie’s side.
‘Young Lady, it seems your good days are over!’
The corners of Su Mengdie’s mouth curled up slightly.
Her mind was already racing with ideas on how to retaliate for all the hardships she had suffered.
“It’s fine, I don’t mind. I’ll leave this letter to you to handle. Come to my room in a little while, and we’ll talk to Su Mengdie about this together.”
“Yes~”
After the two parted in front of the Young Lady’s bedroom, Su Mengdie pushed open the door while humming a little tune.
She couldn’t wait to see the Young Lady in tears, begging her for mercy!

Inside the room, Penelope stared at the computer screen with a grave expression.
Her hair was a mess, looking as though it had just been roughly tousled.
Hearing Su Mengdie enter, she glanced up before returning her focus to the task at hand.
Seeing her look so serious and focused, Su Mengdie momentarily tucked away her smile and leaned over her fragrant shoulder to look at the screen.
“Young Lady, what are you busy with?”
At the mention of it, Penelope let out a heavy sigh.
“Company matters. Since we’re temporarily out of money, a lot of things have become quite troublesome to handle… What did the Head Maid want with you just now?”
Penelope finished replying to one email and turned her head to look at Su Mengdie behind her.
To her surprise, Su Mengdie was leaning in incredibly close!!
The moment she turned, her lips nearly made contact with the other girl’s.
Startled, she recoiled and almost tumbled off her chair.
“That… you’ll find out when the Head Maid gets here.”
Su Mengdie’s face was equally flushed as she shyly turned her head away.
She hadn’t expected the Young Lady to turn around so suddenly, and her heart was still pounding from the shock…
‘If I accidentally kissed her just now, what would I have done?!’
‘That was her first kiss… no, it was the Young Lady’s first kiss… that also didn’t seem quite right.’
‘Anyway, it’s the first kiss for both of them, and that’s very important!!!’
“Young Lady, are you okay?”
Seeing that Penelope hadn’t spoken for a long while, Su Mengdie asked in a soft, trembling voice.
“…Uh, I’m fine! What did you say just now? The Head Maid is coming over later, right?”
Penelope’s voice was also slightly shaky.
Moreover, she seemed a bit distracted.
Su Mengdie stole a glance back and realized Penelope’s face was even redder than hers.
Even the tips of her ears looked as though they were on fire.
‘Is she thinking about the same thing I am…’
“Yes, she’ll be here in a moment.”
“Then sit here. I’ll teach you how to handle the company affairs first.”
Penelope covered her cherry-red lips and gave up her seat.
When her slender fingertips accidentally brushed against those lips that were as smooth as warm jade, she immediately began to have some rather unfortunate fantasies…
As soon as Penelope finished speaking, Su Mengdie sat in the chair as requested.
However, after waiting for a good while, Penelope didn’t say a single word.
Su Mengdie began to think the Young Lady was playing tricks on her again.
When she turned around, she found Penelope immersed in her own world.
Her eyes were vacant as she stared off into space, letting out a silly giggle every now and then.
How terrifying…!
‘Could she have been possessed by something foul?!’
“Young Lady~, Young Lady?!”
Su Mengdie grabbed Penelope’s body and shook her vigorously several times.
A moment later, the light returned to Penelope’s eyes.
Snapping back to reality, Penelope clutched her dizzy head and hurried to make her stop.
“Stop shaking me, Su Mengdie. I’m getting dizzy…”
“Young Lady, what’s wrong with you?”
Su Mengdie was truly baffled.
She hadn’t even started her revenge yet, so why was the girl acting like she’d gone mad…
‘Could she be faking madness to escape her rightful punishment?!’
“Sorry, I just thought of something interesting and got a bit carried away. I’m fine now.”
“Something interesting?”
‘Was it about me?’
Su Mengdie noticed that after Penelope “woke up,” she kept looking at her with a very strange gaze.
While it wasn’t as terrifying as before, it still made her feel like she was in danger.
“Yes, but that’s not important. Let’s get back to business.”
Even though the thought was interesting, Penelope had no intention of sharing it with Su Mengdie.
Things like that would only be fun once they actually happened — especially when Su Mengdie thought she was just joking, only for her to make it real~
Penelope was certain that Su Mengdie’s expression at that moment would be absolutely priceless!
At the thought of that scene, she couldn’t help but chuckle twice more, leaving Su Mengdie sitting beside her in speechless frustration.
‘Is her mental state really okay?’
Whatever, the Young Lady was clearly unreliable.
Su Mengdie felt that if she wanted to understand the company’s affairs, she would have to rely on herself.
While the Young Lady was having her “episode,” Su Mengdie opened the company’s dedicated encrypted email and began browsing through past messages.
She believed that as long as she studied the content Penelope had sent out previously, she could definitely figure out how to run the company.
However, Su Mengdie had clearly overestimated her own abilities.
By the time Penelope had completely calmed down, Su Mengdie was still utterly bewildered by the company’s business.
“How is it, Su Mengdie? Do you feel confident about handling my work now?”
Penelope, naturally noticing the troubled expression on her face, teased her intentionally.
“Heh~… If I had the confidence to handle your work, then you would probably already be the World’s Number One Perfect Maid.”
Actually, Su Mengdie felt she was being too conservative.
Compared to the Young Lady’s work, being a maid was child’s play.
“That’s why I keep telling you, don’t always think I’m lazy. My usual slacking off is just me conserving energy so I can work better~”
Penelope patted Su Mengdie’s shoulder lightly, her smile as smug as could be.
Usually, Su Mengdie would have endured it.
But today was different.
She had backup now, so she wasn’t going to show the Young Lady any mercy.
“Laziness is just laziness. Don’t go looking for grand excuses for your Lazy Cancer. There are things that don’t require any brainpower at all, yet you’re still too lazy to do them, aren’t you?”
For example, getting dressed or taking a bath.
Which of those required her to think?
Seeing Su Mengdie snap back at her so ruthlessly, the smile on Penelope’s face vanished instantly.
“Su Mengdie, you’ve grown bold! How dare you talk to me like that!? I think you’re in need of more discipline!”
“Young Lady, it’s hard to say who will be disciplining whom. I think it’s time for you to make some changes.”
“Why, you…!”
Penelope raised her hand, just about to pin Su Mengdie down onto the bed, when several crisp knocks sounded at the door.
