The two of them finished washing up, ate their breakfast, and prepared to set off.
**[The Train is about to arrive at a Trading Station (Special). Difficulty Level: ?]**
**[Violence is strictly prohibited at this station. Please take extra care.]**
**[Stay Duration: 2 hours]**
Mu Bai slowly typed out a “?” in her mind.
Ever since The Train reached Level 2, the station types had become more precise.
For example, a Doomsday Station would specify if it was an Extreme Cold Apocalypse or a Zombie Apocalypse, and ordinary stations would specify whether they were cities or deserts.
However, a special type like a Trading Station was not only something she was seeing for the first time, it was also unheard of in the Chat Room.
The doors opened to reveal a hall with a great deal of design flair.
It looked similar to the interior of a high-speed rail station in a major city, but the ceiling of the building was a canopy of the brilliant, starry sky.
Inside the hall, people dressed in all kinds of clothing moved back and forth.
Some wore modern casual clothes or sportswear, some wore medieval-style armor, and some even wore Exoskeleton Armor.
‘So… this station is specifically for trading?’
Mu Bai observed the pedestrians and felt that their mental state most likely didn’t resemble that of players in a Survival Game.
The clothing of many people could not have possibly existed in the same era; it was as if Site Natives from various stations across the world had been pulled together.
Many people outside looked relaxed, and The Train had also indicated that violence was prohibited here.
Despite her many questions, it seemed it should be safe.
“Are we going out?”
Ye Yuan asked.
“Wait for me a moment.”
Mu Bai suddenly remembered she hadn’t claimed the Weapon Strike Fist yet.
She turned around and completed the private transaction for the Weapon Strike Fist on the touch screen.
A worn Scroll appeared in the Trading Area.
She picked up the Scroll and stuffed it into her pre-prepared backpack along with three Train Coins.
Only then did she return Ye Yuan’s gaze and nod.
“Let’s go. Let’s see what’s out there.”
Since it was a Trading Station, perhaps Train Coins were the universal currency.
There might also be a chance to sell the Weapon Strike Fist.
Though she wasn’t certain she would actually trade it, it never hurt to be prepared.
The two of them stepped out of the train carriage one after the other.
As she passed through the Light Screen, Mu Bai felt a sensation distinctly different from before—as if her skin felt the touch of passing through a thin layer of something as she stepped out.
She looked back, but it wasn’t a train carriage behind her.
It was a portal.
Mu Bai was stunned for a moment.
This was the first time she had encountered a situation where she couldn’t see The Train after stepping out.
“Ladies, there is no need for alarm. As long as you pass through this portal again within the stay duration, you can return to your previous location,” an electronic voice suddenly spoke beside her.
Startled, Ye Yuan’s hand instinctively moved toward the holster at her waist.
Mu Bai quickly tugged on Ye Yuan’s sleeve to stop her from acting impulsively.
She turned to look and saw that the voice came from an all-white, square, cartoonish robot.
It was cute, though it lacked a head.
“I am the Guide for this area. Since your facial information has not yet been recorded in the Trading Space system, this must be your first time here. I can answer your questions.”
The mechanical arm patted the display screen on its chest, which showed an electronic smiley face.
Given Mu Bai’s height, she was exactly at eye level with the screen.
Mu Bai thought for a moment and asked, “You said this is a Trading Space. Can I trade freely here?”
“Of course. You can browse the shops within the Trading Space or trade with the vendors in the hall… However, if you wish to become a Stall Owner, you need to have your goods inspected at the Registration Desk to prevent shameful deception.”
“What is the currency here?”
“Standard currencies like silver coins and gold coins. Although I don’t quite understand why, some people have recently started calling these coins Train Coins… Shops all require currency for transactions. Of course, we do not forbid you from bartering with the vendors.”
Mu Bai realized what was happening.
It seemed there were quite a few players within this Trading Station as well.
“Can you take me to the Registration Desk?”
Mu Bai asked politely.
“I am the Guide responsible for receiving newcomers and cannot leave my post, but the Registration Desk is at the counter over there.”
The mechanical arm pointed into the distance.
A hundred meters away, behind a counter, stood two more robot staff members who were scanning various items with a device.
There were also a few people lining up at the counter.
“Thank you.”
Mu Bai took Ye Yuan’s hand and left the vicinity of the portal.
“It is my pleasure to serve you.”
On this side of the hall, dozens of portals were neatly lined up against the wall, while the counter was located right in the center.
By the time they reached the counter, the few people in line ahead of them had just finished their inspections.
One of the robots asked, “How may I help you?”
“I want to open a stall.”
“Very well. Please place your goods on the counter. If you plan to use currency, please present it for inspection as well to prevent the circulation of counterfeit coins… In the Trading Space, acts of deception and the use of violence will result in arrest and punishment by the guards. We hope you will abide by the rules.”
“I understand.”
Mu Bai placed her items on the counter.
The Weapon Strike Fist manual, a crossbow with only one bolt, and three Train Coins.
Another robot with a different structure opened its mechanical arms.
A blue light shone on the items to scan them, and then it spat two nameplates out from a gap in its chest.
“These are your item tags and your stall number card. Please do not lose them, and do not occupy a stall that does not belong to you. If you choose to barter, you and your customer can come here together to have the trade items inspected,” the first robot said as it handed the number card to Mu Bai.
“I see.”
Mu Bai took the card and the tags, then took back her items.
“We wish you a pleasant transaction.”

After leaving the counter, they searched for the stall that matched the number.
Ye Yuan suddenly said, “Let’s go take a look at that shop.”
Mu Bai looked in the direction Ye Yuan was pointing.
Although the shop didn’t have a sign, she could see greatswords and high-tech weapons through the glass walls.
“I’ll find my stall first and try to sell these things. Train Coins are more important…”
Mu Bai checked the time.
Nearly ten minutes had already passed, and she felt that two hours might not be enough.
“It should be safe here, and I’ll be fine on my own. You go check that place out first. Here, take the Train Coins. Buy what you need.”
Though she wasn’t sure what three silver coins could get her…
Ye Yuan’s brow furrowed slightly.
She hesitated for a moment before giving a small “mm” in agreement.
She took the Train Coins and walked toward the Weapon Shop.
Over the past few days, she had used another four handgun bullets, leaving her with only nine.
She had to find a chance to replenish her ammunition if possible.
The hall was massive.
It took Mu Bai over ten minutes to finally find her stall.
Mimicking the people around her, she laid her goods out on the polished floor tiles.
She pulled a piece of cloth from her backpack to sit on and sat down cross-legged on the floor.
A young girl with white hair and purple eyes acting as a Stall Owner—her 20 points of Charm were far too eye-catching.
The gazes of those around her were immediately drawn in.
Mu Bai felt the eyes on her and felt a bit nervous.
However, she forced herself to remain calm, maintaining a cold, expressionless face as she stared intently at the ground.
Someone walked by to check her items, but they likely weren’t interested.
They stood there for a while, and seeing that Mu Bai had no intention of striking up a conversation, they moved on.
Mu Bai didn’t realize that if she didn’t take the initiative to speak, her customers would have no way of knowing the price of her goods.
After an unknown amount of time, a pair of legs wearing small leather boots and opaque white stockings stopped in front of her.
“Little girl, how much are you selling these for?”
