Fortunately, Qi Lin’s reward drew the Demon Origin.
The Demon Origin here is entirely different from the origin accumulated by killing enemies like a Succubus.
Like Dragons, Angels, and Undead, he possessed the pinnacle bloodline of this race, making him a pure Ancestor Demon.
It was precisely because of the Demon Incarnations and the series of first-class incarnations born from subsequent origins that he was able to oppose the other side.
Of course, the sudden appearance of the Demon Incarnation had long since given Qi Lin the power to unify this place.
After all, his own strength level crushed these Top Lords; the only difference lay in the troop types.
Yet he discovered a bug.
It forced him to stop his plans for unifying the continent and designate this place as an Experience Field.
Relying solely on the troops of these Lords couldn’t let Qi Lin break through smoothly.
Now, only two powers remained on the continent, and all the low-ranking Lords had become fence-sitters.
Whichever side won, they would naturally choose to submit to.
The regions of the continent were fixed, as were the creatures within them.
This meant fixed resources and, at the same time, fixed gold coins.
If war continued indefinitely, the continent would eventually become a wasteland.
Once all the Lords exhausted their gold, they could no longer summon troops.
But the Undead were an exception.
They could be summoned with just corpses, belonging to the dead and possessing combat capabilities identical to regular troops.
Under the judgment of the terminal, killing these Undead also granted experience.
Though their levels were low, they had the advantage of numbers.
As long as the war didn’t stop, the Undead’s numbers would never cease.
Qi Lin planned to target the Undead Lords of the Fallen Continent, using their ability to summon endless Undead to amass massive energy values for himself.
This also made up for the drawback of the other two continents unifying too quickly.
As soon as he broke through to Legend, he would immediately set about unifying the Fallen Continent, then kill the Commanders at the border and replace them, successfully infiltrating the opposing Organization.
—
On the vast, boundless continent, a deep, awe-inspiring rift stretched across the land.
It pierced east to west like a sky-piercing sword, extending all the way to the mysterious Black Curtain Barrier.
This expansive land, pieced together from thousands of islands, seemed split in two by this bottomless chasm.
To the south of the abyss lay the territory under Qi Lin’s control.
Crossing the perilous rift, hundreds of meters wide, brought one to the domain ruled by three Top Lords.
The southern region was home to various races and troops.
Compared to the northern undead army that blotted out the sky and the fallen angel legions soaring in the heavens, their numbers seemed insignificant.
Yet the pressure they exuded was no less than their opponents.
“Qi Lin, you treacherous scum. You broke the alliance and started this war. We could have joined forces and marched together onto the Fallen Continent. Do you really believe you can defeat us alone?!”
With a furious shout, a figure shrouded in inky blackness stepped from the massive army across the abyss.
This was one of the three Top Lords—the Demon Lord—of the same race as Qi Lin.
“Cut the crap. If you have the guts, kill me.”
Qi Lin wore a mocking grin, full of disdain.
Behind him stood six incarnations of other races, silently watching everything, their cold eyes unfazed by the hundreds of thousands before them.
“No need to reason with a madman. He’s just a brash fool with a bit of power.”
Another youth spoke, draped in black robes, skeletal thin—a Top Lord of the Undead, with the grand army at his back.
“That’s right.”
A woman emerged from the shadows, her face icy.
“Give the order.”
The three Top Lords, led by the Demon Lord, stood united—and he was the strongest among them.
Every Top Lord held boundless potential.
This continent was too small for their ambitions, but what of the native continent?
This was also his idea: form an Alliance, select a leader, and quickly unify—then launch the campaign onto the Fallen Continent.
At that point, what resources would be lacking?
The alliance of the three Top Lords should have sufficed to unite this place.
Yet, unexpectedly, another Demon Lord appeared, whose individual strength surpassed each of them.
Such a powerhouse became a target they had to unite against.
But this person was arrogant, self-centered, and paid the three no mind.
He somehow rallied a group of Lords, openly opposing them.
Even now, the Demon Lord still held hope of allying with them and launching an attack on the Fallen Continent together.
Regrettably, the other side could not comprehend his words at all.
Since communication had broken down, only strength could decide the outcome.
“Kill!”
With the Demon Lord’s roar, endless demonic energy surged from his body like a raging flood, sweeping into the deep ravine ahead.
At the same time, the two Lords behind him gave the same command without hesitation.
“Kill!”
On the other side of the abyss, a cold smile curved Qi Lin’s lips.
His pitch-black eyes turned blood-red in an instant.
As if summoned by some force, the abyss trembled violently.
Then, a terrifying surge of demonic energy erupted from the depths, its darkness almost tangible.
In that instant, the whole land quaked.
If one looked closely, the abyss itself seemed to shift.
Boundless demonic energy filled every inch of the chasm, finally condensing into a massive bridge of darkness.
The next moment, both armies, prepared and waiting, charged across the abyss like a tidal wave, launching their assault on the enemy.
