Chapter 84: Letters

“It hurts.”

The pain in her palm made her furrow her brows, then she heard Finihiya Hilesfiliana’s gentle voice.

“It hurts here? That means Darlian’s liver is very tired.”

“It hurts.”

“This is your kidney.”

“It hurts, what’s this spot?”

“The spleen.”

Wherever Miss Finihiya pressed on her palm, a tingling numbness spread, making her feel her body suddenly relax a lot.

Her wandering gaze unintentionally caught sight of Finihiya’s slender legs, and then Darlian asked in a calm tone.

“Can I lie down?”

“Lie down?” A hint of confusion appeared on Finihiya’s face, and then she mumbled, “I don’t really mind. But if you lie straight down on this grass, it might feel a little uncomfortable.”

After saying that, Darlian lay down on her own, resting her head on Finihiya’s legs.

Just as Finihiya was quietly admiring this comfortable, pleasant scenery, the sudden sound of knocking came from behind her. She withdrew her gaze and looked toward the door of the room.

When she opened the door, Finihiya saw Danila standing at the doorway.

“This letter was just delivered to you from the Belgrade Association.”

As she spoke, Danila handed over a pale envelope with both hands.

The opening of the envelope was sealed with beeswax.

After a simple thank you, Finihiya took the envelope from Danila’s hands and examined it front and back.

“Then, please rest early, Lady Finihiya.”

“Mm!” she replied softly, noticing that Danila was still wearing her maid uniform from work. She smiled and added, “Miss Danila, you should rest early too. It’s getting late. Any work can wait until tomorrow.”

Closing the door gently, Finihiya walked over to the wooden table and chairs in her room and sat down, examining the envelope once more.

Since it was sent by the Belgrade Association, then this envelope should have come from Royce.

Looking at the tedious words in the letter, Finihiya couldn’t help but show a dry, helpless smile.
