Mission complete. The Hero no longer needs to hide and naturally doesn’t have to hold back.
White Feather Dove gently placed the comatose Feini down, hiding her in the cracks between the rocks, and took up the responsibility of protecting her mother.
Qingshamu and Heiqi Long spread out to the left and right, forming a battle line—it seemed an intense fight was inevitable.
The Martial Arts Club’s Three Kings closed in to surround and kill the Hero.
Orange Sea Dream focused on holding off Little Black.
Dragon Maid Weima Ana squared off against White Feather Dove once again.
“This time, it’s not just a club match—there’s no referee. This is a fight to the death.” Orange Sea Dream gave a cold snort, flicked her wrist lightly, and signaled for the Three Kings to take out Qingshamu first.
“This time, I won’t be holding back with my blade.” Weima Ana said.
As for the Three Kings, there was no need for extra words. Originally restricted by school rules, they had never been able to unleash their full power.
And they weren’t particularly intelligent magical beasts anyway—no matter how many books they read, it was useless.
Their minds were filled only with thoughts of slaughter, and now they could finally indulge themselves in battle.
“Whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo! Whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo!”
The Water Element octopus monster grew eight enormous tentacles from its back and unleashed a relentless flurry of attacks at Qingshamu.
“Boom, boom, boom! Boom, boom, boom!”
As for the Stone Demon, there was no need for words; it immediately charged at full strength!
Heian Zhua Mo’s movements were slower by a beat, but in fact, it was the most dangerous of all. It let its teammates stagger the enemy first, then seized the right moment to launch a sneak attack.
“Clang!” In the next instant, a brilliant arc of sword qi whistled forth!
All of the Water Element octopus monster’s tentacles were sliced apart, cut right down the middle by the semicircular sword qi, instantly splitting it in two.
“You think that kind of attack can hurt me?” But it let out a pair of strange laughs, since both mouths were speaking.
“Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang!” However, even more dazzling sword qi shaped like fish fins rained down, shredding it even finer.
“Stone man! Help me!” The Water Element octopus brother panicked at once, crying out loudly for help.
Clearly, it had once suppressed Ten-Step Hall’s trump card, but in the face of Qingshamu’s Bright Moon Sword Qi, it was utterly vulnerable.
There was nothing it could do. The Water Element octopus was only resistant to physical and fire attacks, but couldn’t defend against others.
Especially since it was an elemental body immune to physical attacks, it was especially fragile against magic.
Magic attacks would break the flow of mana in its body, disrupt the current, and scatter its form.
Qingshamu’s Bright Moon Sword Qi was nothing particularly special—just a flying magic spell.
But the Mana Flying Sword possessed powerful cutting power, able to temporarily sever the mana links of an elemental body, causing it to lose control over its form.
This efficiently depleted its mana, until the elemental was utterly destroyed.
“Rumble!” The Rock Monster swerved, surging forward at full power to ram the Hero, who was fiercely unleashing sword qi.
Wherever it passed, clouds of dust flew up, and it sent Qingshamu flying with a brutal crash.
Oh no.
When the Stone Demon’s charge finally halted and everyone looked carefully, it was actually the Headless Rider’s lightsword that had pierced through the Stone Demon’s neck, penetrating the once-invulnerable rocky exterior.
Borrowing the force of the impact, Qingshamu immediately launched a counterattack—turning back to thrust her sword, channeling all the force into piercing power.
Even the Stone Demon’s expression was filled with fear; at that moment, it sensed the threat of death.
“Clang~” Qingshamu swung her sword in a vicious arc, lopping off the Stone Demon’s head.
The enormous, heavy body collapsed like a robot with its power cut, never to rise again.
“Shua shua! Shua shua! Shua! Shua shua! Shua shua! Shua shua!”
But just then, Heian Zhua Mo ambushed from behind—ten vicious claws extending suddenly, forming a deadly web.
Qingshamu had no time to dodge, and was instantly pierced through the body by all ten of Heian Zhua Mo’s claws—a chill straight to the core.
That’s why it was said to be the most dangerous. The Water Element octopus and Stone Demon were just there to create the opening for its ambush.
Yet the Qingshamu that was impaled by Heian Zhua Mo gradually dissolved into golden motes of magical energy, drifting away on the wind.
“A Witch Clone…”
Even Heian Zhua Mo was stunned, but by the time it reacted, it was too late.
“Clang~”
A sword light flashed behind it, so fast it was almost unseen.
Two seconds later, Heian Zhua Mo split open from head to toe, falling into a neat pile of flesh.
Though all saw the Headless Rider swing only once, it had been sliced into eighteen pieces—a truly grisly end.
The onlooking club members broke out in cold sweat, instinctively backing away several steps.
And Heian Zhua Mo was truly dead. It wasn’t an elemental body—being cut up like that meant it could never return.
As for the Water Element octopus brother, it had already shrunk into a round, chubby blue baby octopus—having lost so much mana, this was all that remained.
Seeing Heian Zhua Mo slain, it was so terrified that it started leaking water, paddling its little tentacles and scurrying away.
“You running too?”
“Yeah, yeah, run—can’t win here.”
On its escape, it encountered the Stone Demon’s head rolling along. Though its head had been severed, its vitality was far beyond Heian Zhua Mo’s—as long as the head remained, it could regenerate.
But would these two hard-luck brothers ever dare trouble the Hero again?
Both had been defeated in a single round, one companion was brutally slain—the power gap was just too great.
……
“Damn turtle shield! If you have the guts, take off your shield and duel me with blades!”
Meanwhile, on the other side, Dragon Maid Weima Ana, despite her cool opening line, was quickly entangled in White Feather Dove’s turtle-style defense.
The Lunar Shield and Dark Moon Armor were highly effective against her Draw Slash, and White Feather Dove had already fought Dragon Maid once, seeing through all her sword techniques—their duel had only further improved White Feather Dove’s counter-strategies.
Unable to beat White Feather Dove the first time, there was no way she could threaten her now.
But White Feather Dove had to protect the comatose Feini, so she adopted an even more conservative Turtle Sword Technique—rarely attacking, only standing firmly in front of her mother and trusting her teammates.
Thus, the battle truly deciding the outcome was Orange Sea Dream’s fierce fight with Heiqi Long.
Once the Boss and her Bodyguard, now mortal enemies locked in a life-and-death struggle.
At first, Orange Sea Dream had wanted to forgive Little Black, but the more she thought about it, the angrier she got.
After all, as the boss, being betrayed and then beaten up by her own bodyguard was beyond humiliating.
As a woman destined to become the King of Dragons, this was unacceptable. She had to wash away this stain.
Just like Ten-Step Hall once wanted to erase the shame of teaming up with a Demonkind traitor—raising her fist and killing Feini to clear her name.
Orange Sea Dream brought so many people to intercept Qingshamu and the others—not for the Demonkind’s future, but for herself. To kill Heiqi Long.
Coincidentally, Ten-Step Hall’s conditions for cooperation were also to take down Heiqi Long—a triple win.
