Chapter 8: Livia will definitely win Mr. Lynn’s heart!

When Lynn returned to his bedroom, it was already quite late.

Livia let out a sigh of relief.

Then she pushed the door open, carrying a tray as she walked slowly to Lynn’s desk.

“Hurry and eat, try my cooking while it’s still hot.”

A juicy steak was placed right in front of him.

It was the first time Lynn learned that Livia could cook.

Lynn picked up his knife and fork, just about to dig in, when Livia suddenly stopped him.

Lynn took the potion from Livia’s hand and drank it all in one gulp.

Livia smiled faintly and then moved Lynn onto the bed.

She wore nothing but a thin, translucent white veil draped over her delicate, rosy body, her slender figure faintly visible.

Livia’s chestnut hair was slightly damp, clinging to her temples, and her whole body exuded a pleasant fragrance.

Beneath the warm lamplight, the girl’s blushing face looked even more lovely and touching.

She’d already taken a bath.

Lynn was already asleep.

There was no better moment than this.

Just one more step, and she could completely make Lynn hers.

She lay down beside Lynn, her fingertips constantly kneading at his chest.

“Lynn’s been attacked!”

As that thought flashed through Sophie’s mind, cold sweat broke out all over her.

Why did the Abyssal Deathsworn move so quickly?

Sophie couldn’t figure it out.

She only knew one thing had to be done.

Call for help, save Lynn.

Sophie’s intention was good, of course.

But as the news spread, it somehow became “Lynn was attacked and killed.”

That night, the news of Lynn’s death spread throughout the entire Carrette Estate, throwing everyone into chaos and lighting up the whole manor.

Until the next day, when Lynn woke up in utter confusion—inside a coffin.

Livia nodded furiously.

Lynn was helpless.

That excuse was just the worst.

Hearing this, Livia couldn’t help but bury her head deeply.

She felt utterly mortified.

“If Sophie hadn’t ruined things, Mr. Lynn would have already given in to me…”

Livia muttered in a small voice.

Tempting Mr. Lynn, having her good deeds spoiled time and again, and then getting scolded by Mr. Lynn…
