Rushing into her room and slamming the door shut, Ange leaned against the door panel, gasping for breath.
She had nearly lost control just now. Honestly, with Huayin being so beautiful, how was she supposed to resist…
She’d only managed to overcome her own urges with the same tenacity she once used to snatch her consciousness back from the hands of the King of Mindflayers.
Though it sounded strange, it was only at times like this she wished her orientation had changed along with everything else.
That way, she wouldn’t be plagued with all these troublesome things.
Maybe she would’ve already found some pretty boy to keep by her side. Well, that was just her giving in to despair.
She was sure Huayin had also acted on impulse just now.
Although Ange herself had been single since birth, she still understood how strong young people’s desires could be.
At Huayin’s age, she’d only just awakened to those kinds of feelings not long ago.
After Ange’s flirting, having those kinds of thoughts was perfectly normal.
Of course, if she thought about it more pessimistically, Huayin hadn’t actually done anything wrong.
After all, she wasn’t speaking to a stranger, but to her future… wife…
“Damn it, why the hell can the undying bird reproduce with the same sex? Is this even natural? This is absurd! Well, nothing makes sense anymore. I mean, I was a guy who turned into a girl—what’s more ridiculous than that?”
“Sigh, whatever. At least this troublesome day is finally over. So much happened today, it’s hard to believe everything took place in just a single day. Huayin arrived, I… slept with her… And now I might have to get married because of it…”
“Sigh… I can only hope Rita can help. At the very least, if I didn’t hit the jackpot, she can protect both my and Huayin’s reputation.”
“Heh, come to think of it, taking down that Demon Casino was the easiest and most relaxing thing today.”
It really was beyond my expectations. Both Ingrid and Huayin— their combat abilities even surpassed many veteran Demon Hunters.
Well, those old Demon Hunters without much Bloodline, anyway.
If it’s a Demon Hunter with the Bloodline of the Seven Demon Kings of Hell, like herself or Rita, that’s another story.
Not to brag, but if Ange really wanted to, she could take down both Huayin and Ingrid in an instant.
When it came to fighting, she could still hold her own, and her body was fine… Uh… At least, not in the traditional sense…
But the Magic Mark really was her biggest problem. For six years, she’d grown used to this female body, grown used to being herself like this.
She’d changed a lot—from finding the woman in the mirror a stranger at first to even learning how to dress herself up. Well, only when going out did she care about that.
But the Magic Mark—she just couldn’t overcome it. There was no way to ignore it.
Statistically speaking, because of this damn Magic Mark, in six years, the number of times she’d done that kind of thing had already reached four digits—starting with a two.
Damn it all! Even those poor souls trained by Succubi as toys couldn’t compare to her!
If it were just about getting aroused, that would be fine.
But if the Magic Mark was left unchecked, it would gradually become something like a mental spell.
Her will would slowly lose control, and, like before, she’d turn into a beast that only enjoyed that process.
Huayin had already suffered for it. She really didn’t have the guts to be so reckless anymore.
Maybe she ought to have a serious talk with Rita about it.
She couldn’t be a Teacher—six years, and she’d almost become a shut-in.
Her world consisted of only the bathroom and the bedroom. That was it.
She didn’t even go to the bathroom to use it for its intended purpose.
And tomorrow, there would be one last student arriving. She was really about to break.
Ingrid was pretty much a natural airhead, and Huayin already knew everything.
But what if the last one turned out to be clever!
Teacher, why do you always go to the bathroom? Teacher, why do you put a vibrator on the tip of the gun, Teacher, you…
Fine, Teacher, I admit it, okay? Fa k.
And so, another day would come. The time until the next Magic Mark episode was surely drawing near.
When would it be this time? Morning? Noon? Night? In her dreams?
Ange feared having it happen in her sleep most of all, since that would likely mean she’d have one more task for the day—washing her bedsheets.
“Tower Sis, switch with someone else, please. It’s only been two days and I’ve already screwed up. You want to watch me get married?”
Ange started calling Rita again.
“You still owe me two favors, right? I’m using one now. Help me hold out. As a Teacher.”
“It’s so hard—this is harder than dealing with demons! I can stare down a Heart Demon, stare down a Succubus, but I can’t look them in the eyes! I just can’t resist!”
“Willpower.”
“I don’t have any willpower left! Six years have turned me into a wreck! Do you have any idea how many movies I’ve watched in six years? 3D Area! Animation Area! I’m famous everywhere! I know every author! Every day I go online like it’s a meal!”
“If you keep whining, I’ll refuse your request. Then you can go explain everything to Huayin’s family yourself.”
“Tower Sis! Please, don’t! I’ll be doomed!”
“You won’t be doomed. Who could possibly kill the Number One Demon Hunter?”
“That’s not the kind of doomed I mean!”
“All right, if you have time to chat with me, you’d better get some sleep. Your last student is a real troublemaker among troublemakers.”
“Wha…what?”
A bead of cold sweat trickled down Ange’s forehead. She almost wanted to go fight a demon instead—anything but being a Teacher.
“I’ll start with the good news: this student has no background. You can go after her as you like.”
“Shut up! Don’t mess with me!”
“Just being honest.”
“Then why did she come to be a Demon Hunter? If she doesn’t even have a Bloodline, isn’t it easy to die?”
“No family behind her doesn’t mean she’s ordinary. She inherited the Bloodline of the Greed Demon King Mamon. Understand now?”
“One of the Seven Demon Kings, too?! My god! Please have mercy…”
“Teach her well. If your class performs well this new semester, I might consider giving you a bonus.”
“How much!”
“At least six figures, maybe seven. You’ve been broke for six years—don’t you want to splurge a little?”
“Damn!”
Sorry, rational side of me, but the reward is just too good…
