Can a man really be this beautiful…
That was Su Jin’s first reaction when she saw Lin Luan after he’d changed clothes.
What she had handed Lin Luan was a Maid Outfit.
The black maid dress barely wrapped around Lin Luan’s upper body, and the white lace apron tied at his waist accentuated his slender figure.
That headband, topped with fuzzy black Dog Ears, sat atop his messy black hair, making Su Jin’s heart restless.
Lin Luan’s eyes flickered evasively, tinged with confusion, lips tightly pressed together.
Suddenly, Su Jin thought of Lin Luan’s WeChat profile picture—that Labrador.
It has to be him!
Su Jin had to admit, this costume she’d impulsively picked out looked far better on Lin Luan than she’d ever imagined.
She could feel her cheeks heating up again.
Really, how annoying! She was supposed to be Lin Luan’s master! How could she act like those inexperienced little girls!
Xiao Li, standing off to the side, watched Su Jin, clearly seeing right through her thoughts.
Honestly, her lady was like two different people at work and in private. In a sense, calling her a little girl wasn’t wrong at all.
As for this Lin Luan…after putting on the Maid Outfit, he really did have a certain charm.
That outfit was something she’d brought when she’d first started working for her lady; she hadn’t worn it in ages. She never thought it’d end up on Lin Luan now.
But that dog ear headband…where did that come from?
Did her lady buy it herself?
Xiao Li glanced at Su Jin’s profile; right now Su Jin looked no different from a high school girl, even though she was normally the commanding, high-and-mighty type, she now seemed at a loss.
Her lady’s other side…this was the first time seeing it.
Su Jin wanted to say something, but got stuck.
Her plan had only gone as far as making Lin Luan put on the Maid Outfit; what to do next, she hadn’t thought about at all.
Maids…what do maids even do?
“You, go cook!” Su Jin said.
Yes, yes, maids should cook.
“Miss Su Jin…you just finished breakfast, didn’t you?” Lin Luan replied in a low voice.
Su Jin glanced at the dining table; truthfully, she hadn’t even finished her breakfast yet.
“Don’t talk back!” Su Jin’s face reddened. “Then go clean up!”
…Yes, Miss Su Jin.” Lin Luan responded quietly, resigned, and picked up the vacuum cleaner in the corner, beginning to operate it awkwardly.
What a fancy thing—he’d always just used a rag to wipe the floors before. Now that he was told to use a vacuum cleaner, he couldn’t figure it out at all, and he was actually less efficient than with a rag.
Not to mention, he was still wearing this humiliating Maid Outfit. Every second was torment.
Su Jin sat back down at the table, absent-mindedly stirring her now-cold coffee, her gaze inevitably drifting towards Lin Luan.
The fuzzy dog ears on the headband quivered with his movements, making Su Jin feel like a kitten was scratching at her heart.
…So cute.
No!
No, she was the master, how could she be so soft! She had to do something to maintain her dignity!
Her eyes swept over the dining table and landed on a bottle of ketchup.
A thought occurred to her.
She pretended to stretch out her hand carelessly, her fingertips lightly brushing—
“Plop!”
Ketchup spilled onto the shiny floor, splattering instantly and leaving a small red stain on the floor.
“Oh dear.” Su Jin gasped softly, then pointed at the stain, commanding Lin Luan, who had looked over at the sound, “Clumsy! Hurry up and clean that! Use a rag, and do it yourself!”
?”
Lin Luan estimated the distance between himself and the table—about five meters.
“You mean, I knocked over the ketchup?”
Unless I’m Luffy?
“What else! Hurry and clean it up!”
Xiao Li quietly watched her lady’s childishly obvious attempt to frame Lin Luan, the corner of her mouth twitching.
Thankfully, her lady’s intelligence was normal when it came to business.
Lin Luan looked at the obviously freshly splattered ketchup, then at Su Jin’s “Yeah, I did it—what can you do about it?” face, and was at a loss for words.
But what could he say? The patron was like a god; if the god said he knocked it over, then he knocked it over.
“Yes, Miss Su Jin, I’ll clean it right away.” He set down the vacuum cleaner and picked up a rag.
He crouched down, the black skirt of the Maid Outfit fanning out on the floor, and began slowly wiping up the bright red sauce with the white rag.
The fluffy tail attached to the Maid Outfit rose up slightly as he squatted, twitching with every movement.
Su Jin sat in a nearby chair, leisurely sipping her coffee.
At least, that’s how it looked on the surface.
In reality, Su Jin’s eyes never left Lin Luan’s face.
Watching Lin Luan being so obedient filled Su Jin with a strange sense of satisfaction, a joy all her own.
This man, as blank as a sheet of paper, was now dressed in a Maid Outfit, listening to her orders, dutifully cleaning the floor she had deliberately dirtied in front of her.
This feeling was even more exhilarating than closing a big deal.
“Wipe it clean—don’t leave a single mark.” Su Jin struggled to suppress her rising smile, continuing to command in a haughty tone, relishing
this pleasure that belonged only to her.
Lin Luan kept his head down, quietly cleaning, sighing inwardly.
Miss Su Jin really is a pervert.

Meanwhile, at Drunken Deer.
The air was thick with the mingled scents of alcohol and desire. The laughter of flirting men and women, and the crisp clink of glasses, filled the space.
Chen Siye sat alone in the farthest shadowed corner from the main stage.
He was still dressed in an expensive custom suit, hair immaculate, but the exhaustion in his eyes made him look utterly deflated.
On the main stage, princes performed under garish lights, while below, princesses flung their wealth around to support their favorites.
He had once been the undisputed king under those lights, the top star for whom countless women would spend a fortune just to earn a single smile.
But now…
On the coffee table before him sat only a solitary glass of ice water.
Not even the most basic fruit plate was brought by the waiters, and the days when one needed an appointment to see him seemed like a distant dream.
His gaze was like a caged beast, locked onto the crowd.
Calling him a drowned rat was more apt than ever.
Waiters flitted back and forth, busily delivering expensive drinks to the lively private rooms, yet not a single one paused by his corner.
Occasionally, a glance would sweep his way, but it was quickly averted.
Those colleagues who once flattered him, calling him “Brother Siye” every day, were now either performing enthusiastically for their clients
or clustered together, whispering and laughing quietly.
“Look, that’s Chen Siye…”
“I heard Miss Su has completely given up on him?”
“Serves him right. He used to rely on Miss Su, acting all high and mighty.”
“Without Miss Su, what is he? Still thinks he’s a big deal…”
Chen Siye clicked his tongue.
A bunch of backstabbers. Disgusting.
Suddenly, a tipsy woman staggered into his corner, her hazy gaze lingering on Chen Siye for a moment, apparently drawn by his looks.
For a fleeting moment, hope flickered in Chen Siye’s heart, and he reflexively gave her a charming smile.
But the woman only looked at him for a few seconds before curling her lip.
“Forget it. Boring.”
With that, she tottered off toward a rising new star not far away.
In that moment, the smile froze on Chen Siye’s face, then slowly shattered, twisting into a grimace.
He felt like an outdated product forgotten in a warehouse corner—even though the tag still boasted an impressive price, nobody cared anymore.
If this went on, he’d be fired from Drunken Deer.
Damn it, damn it damn it damn it damn it damn it!!!
It was all Su Jin’s fault! If that woman had even the slightest affection for him, his pursuit wouldn’t have failed!
Always putting on that ice queen face—did she think she was so great?! Damn it, it’s just money, isn’t it?!
Chen Siye’s pupils began to tremble.
If I can’t have it good, none of you will.
None of you.
