Konghuan and Kongxi had just returned to their office… or rather, it was more accurate to call it a private room.

Kongxi let out a breath, kicked off her shoes and socks, sprawled on the soft couch, rolling back and forth, her calves swinging nonstop.

Konghuan’s expression stiffened.

Konghuan struggled.

“It’s been less than eight hours…”

Kongxi bit down on the wrapper, whining at him in grievance.

“But what you want is my life…”

Konghuan nodded with a smile.

They relaxed and collapsed onto the bed together.
