The Academy-issued amulets given to Liakade and her group did not record the types of monsters, but they did track the experience points gained from defeating them.
These experience points served as the standard for the Academy’s scoring records.
After the Teacher retrieved their amulets and checked them, she was shocked to discover that the experience points they had earned this time had reached an unbelievably high level.
Even without including the Purple Abyss Demon Octopus, their scores were already at full marks.
“What in the world is this…”
She couldn’t understand how Liakade and the others had managed to gain so many experience points, enough to max out their scores in just half a day.
Once again, she marveled inwardly at the strength of Liakade’s group, then recorded their scores.
Meanwhile, Liakade and the others had already boarded the carriage for the return journey.
Korim had previously said that Liakade needed to recover in a quiet place without disturbances.
The facilities at the Camp were lacking, and other students would be returning soon, making it easy to be disturbed.
So, Alice and her group decided to return directly to the Palace, the quietest and safest place.
After arriving back at the Academy, Alice and the others let Chloe off the carriage and returned to the Palace, with Field carrying Princess Liakade in her arms the entire way.
Field, holding Liakade in her arms, felt even more keenly her smallness and softness.
“Take good care of Liakade. I’ll go rest as well.”
The battle with the Purple Abyss Demon Octopus had taken a toll on Sistem too.
Leaving those words behind, Sistem exited the room, leaving Liakade and the other three to rest inside.
“Yes, Your Highness Sistem, please rest as well.”
Alice nodded and replied softly to Sistem.
Of course, the two of them had to take good care of Liakade.
If not for Liakade’s early warning and tactical arrangements during the operation, they might have fallen into Darkness’s hands.
Looking after Liakade without leaving her side was not just Korim’s reminder, but also the expression of their love for Liakade.
“Liakade…”
Field gently laid the still-unconscious Liakade on the bed, then sat at the bedside, a hint of pain in her eyes as she gazed at her.
Liakade’s eyes were tightly closed, her expression calm, like a sleeping beauty waiting to be awakened.
The right sleeve of Liakade’s uniform was much shorter, and the once-white uniform was stained with blood and dust, with the hem torn from the battle.
Although Liakade had told them earlier that she would be exhausted after summoning Korim, they didn’t expect her to fall into such a long-lasting coma.
“Thanks to Liakade, we were able to survive this crisis…”
“Yeah.”
Alice sat beside the bed as well.
Although the battle was fierce, only Liakade was actually injured among them.
Darkness’s level was too high, so Liakade couldn’t risk letting anyone else get close, and had to block Darkness head-on.
The instructions given to Chloe and Field were to prioritize their own safety, leaving only Alice to launch attacks that could affect Darkness.
Even when Darkness temporarily sealed Alice’s actions, Liakade still desperately blocked Darkness and then summoned Korim to drive her away.
So, aside from Liakade, the others only suffered minor injuries, which quickly healed under Alice’s Healing Art.
Liakade, on the other hand, relied on her terrifying super-speed regeneration to recover.
However, the process of regeneration was not as gentle as Alice’s Healing Art.
With Alice’s Light Element, even scars could be erased completely.
As Liakade had said before, when Alice’s level reached a certain point, she could even regenerate lost limbs for others.
Although Liakade could also repair her body at high speed, her regeneration was wilder—leaving blood scabs and scars from forced regeneration on her flesh.
After defeating the Purple Abyss Demon Octopus, Alice tried to treat Liakade to remove the blood scabs left by regeneration.
But when the Light Element touched Liakade’s arm, her skin didn’t improve; instead, slight carbonization appeared, forcing Alice to stop the treatment in alarm.
Back when Alice first met Liakade, treatments had worked just fine.
Perhaps due to the activation of the Demon Bloodline, Alice’s Healing Art was now ineffective on Liakade.
This was also why, back at the Camp, the Teacher had wanted to call a Physician for Liakade, only for everyone to refuse.
The Physicians, like those of the Church, used instruments to convert their own Elements into impure, extremely faint Light Elements.
When these Light Elements touched Liakade’s body, instead of healing her, they caused slight carbonization again, raising suspicions about her identity at the Academy.
Liakade must now be in a very weakened state, no wonder Korim repeatedly urged Alice and Field to stay by her side.
However…what Korim had in mind was clearly different from theirs.
Only Korim knew what kind of lustful beast Liakade would become upon awakening…
Such a three-way free-for-all was a scene Korim would very much like to witness.
She was providing her daughters-in-law with more opportunities to develop.
“Field, let’s help Liakade wipe her body.”
Alice looked at Liakade lying on the bed and suggested to Field.
“Yeah, letting her wear such clothes isn’t right.”
Field nodded.
She agreed.
Liakade’s uniform was this dirty—she couldn’t be left wearing it.
So, Alice supported the unconscious Liakade, letting her half-sit against the pillow, then gently unfastened her uniform and took off the top.
Liakade’s delicate shoulders slid free as Alice tossed the tattered shirt aside, only to find that the white camisole beneath was also stained with blood, now dried.
Soft little mounds threatened to spill forth, and Alice undid the camisole as well.
Liakade’s skin was still pale and smooth, but blood scabs from regeneration marred its perfection, with twisted scars on her right shoulder, abdomen, and chest—proof that Liakade had protected Alice and Field.
Perhaps the battle-worn Liakade held a unique charm, but Alice and Field’s gazes were filled only with tenderness, devoid of any desire.
“I’ll go fetch a basin of water.”
Field stood up to get water, while Alice continued and removed Liakade’s skirt.
However, Alice seemed to have forgotten something.
The mark on Liakade’s abdomen that Alice had seen before was now so faint it was nearly invisible.
