Chapter 18: The Water Spirit Mother and Daughter

As he spoke, Lu Ming extended his flawless hand toward Lisi and Lucia.

The mother and daughter, already shocked with their mouths agape, froze for a moment before finally reacting belatedly.

“Your Highness is correct. We elves are born to worship the Elf Goddess.”

“Lucia and I were forced to hide our identities and flee here.”

“We used to live in the north of the Nation of Nature. One day, several major Churches’ people suddenly arrived.”

“They demanded we change our faith and worship their Deities.”

“But the Elf Goddess is the absolute faith of the Elf race. It’s impossible to change, so we were branded as Heretics.”

“Our clan suffered heavy casualties. Lucia and I were among the few who managed to escape. Her leg was injured during our flight.”
