Qingshamu wanted to ask Feini for some clarity, but she didn’t come to class that afternoon.
And then tomorrow, the day after, and the day after that… she never showed up again.
Her seat was left empty.
The classmates paid even less attention to Feini’s disappearance; after all, she had been a lonely, shadowy figure with no friends, and many secretly wished she would just disappear altogether.
Only Qingshamu occasionally stared blankly at that vacant seat.
She hurried back to the dorm’s storage room and found it completely empty.
Feini and the children were gone too.
Qingshamu seemed to forget the grand plan she was supposed to carry, drifting like a lost soul, wandering helplessly through the places Feini had once been, trying to find traces of her.
But no matter if it was where she ate or where she worked, there was nothing to be found.
“Feini… where did you actually go?”
She had drained her own blood, given birth to a child, and then just vanished? Was she trying to torment me for life?
—————
The timeline had to be traced back a few days……
In truth, the Faceless Witch had found Feiling, suddenly appearing beside her bed.
Heiqi Long immediately climbed up and hissed at this uninvited guest.
White Feather Dove also grabbed her small scissors, wary.
“She’s my contact,” Feini raised her hand to calm them down.
“You really did give birth to a child.” The Faceless Witch studied Little Black and Little White closely.
“Faceless Lady, what brings you here?” Feini asked.
“Of course, to take an apprentice. Your child can already shapeshift into human form upon birth, and this little dragon here…”
The Faceless Witch smiled as she looked at Heiqi Long.
“Even if it’s a hybrid dragon, it will surely learn the Shapeshifting Skill soon enough. Come, sign here.”
“Don’t bother. I won’t let my child become your prisoner.” Feini rejected her outright.
The Faceless Witch’s expression darkened instantly.
Although faceless, her tone was cold and threatening. “Don’t think I don’t know your little trick. You didn’t sign with your own name last time, but that doesn’t matter. As long as you personally wrote it, the Contract will bind you.”
Then she produced Feini’s Trapped Beast Contract. The words Dark Trap Killing Sword on it radiated a chilling red magical light.
“Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack!”
A swarm of red magical chains suddenly appeared out of thin air around Feini, binding her tightly without any chance to resist.
But in the next moment, the Faceless Witch’s body was struck by a powerful Dragon Claw from a surprise attack, smashing her form into two halves on the spot.
“Roar?”
Little Black didn’t feel any resistance—because the Faceless Witch’s body was nothing but a swirl of magical mist, lacking physical form.
Her upper half floated in midair. Though expressionless, the shock was palpable. She probably never expected to be ripped apart so quickly.
What was even more shocking was what happened next: White Feather Dove suddenly sprang into the air and in an instant cut through the mother’s Trapped Beast Contract with her scissors.
With the Contract destroyed, the red chains binding Feini vanished.
“Faceless Lady, I’m free now. I’m done playing your house games.” Feini propped herself up against the bed, slowly getting up. “These past days have been awful—starving, sleeping in this dump, bullied every day. We’re not staying.”
“Wait, let’s talk this through calmly. Don’t go yet. Do you remember I saved you?” The Faceless Witch floated anxiously in the air.
“I owe you nothing but use.” Feini sneered coldly.
“Fine, then let’s talk about terms. No need to make this awkward.” The Faceless Witch’s form quickly regenerated.
“I want Three Protected Divine Demon Contracts, plus unlimited meal tickets. If you can offer us that, we’ll stay.” Feini answered.
“Is that all? No problem. With your strength, you’ll definitely be Privileged Students.” The Faceless Witch agreed readily.
“We also don’t want to live in some storage room anymore.” Feini said without emotion. “No house, no apprentice.”
“Of course.” The Faceless Witch nodded.
“Finally, I need to take a leave of absence to recover and spend time with the children.” Feini said.
“No problem. It’s better if they grow a bit before enrolling anyway.” The Faceless Witch agreed.
“Children, pack your things.” Feini said.
And so, the mother-daughter trio followed the Faceless Witch out of Room 302.
This was the protagonist’s little nest—we’re not playing anymore. Time to find a new place to settle.
As for why Feini knew the Faceless Witch would agree to all these demands? Simple: her achievements depended on us.
This involves a core plotline from <Banyan Lily>.
That is the 【Factional Struggle】.
Don’t forget, this place is just a disguised Beast Gathering Place pretending to be a peaceful Academy.

“Feini, where are you…”
Qingshamu sat on the long bench, lost in thought, muttering quietly.
She still believed Feini and the children had been expelled, their fate unknown, left to fend for themselves. In truth, they had risen in status and fortune.
Suddenly, footsteps echoed all around.
A large group of Demonic Beast apprentices surrounded her from all directions, including classmates and seniors, blocking Qingshamu completely.
“What do you want?” Qingshamu’s cold gaze swept over them, her tone sharp.
That single look was like a drawn sword, scaring them back half a step.
“Better to meet in person, Ailuma.” From within the crowd, a graceful black-haired senior appeared, a stabbing sword hanging at her waist.
“…” Seeing the black hair, Qingshamu couldn’t help but think of Feini again.
“I am the Kendo Club Captain and Commander, Mion Noah. We have watched your training; your swordsmanship is excellent. I sincerely invite you to join our Kendo Club.” The Captain bowed slightly, highly respectful.
“…” Qingshamu remained silent for a long moment, the atmosphere growing awkward.
Just then, Ten-Step Hall and Xue Dai Yue passed by with a group of aristocratic ladies giggling, carrying tea sets and snacks, holding an open-air Tea Party.
In an instant, Ten-Step Hall and Qingshamu exchanged secret glances, the tension thick.
But despite their delicate appearances, when these aristocratic ladies showed up, the other students in the park all gave way, not daring to block their path or disturb their refinement.
Because they belonged to one of the Academy’s most powerful circles: the 【Tea Party】.
Joining this group was simple—not about knowing tea, but about knowing how to use magic.
In other words, every one of these aristocratic ladies was a high-level Demonic Beast skilled in magic.
They represented the Academy’s highest combat power and authority, after all, the headmaster of the God and Demon Academy, the Nameless Witch, was a sorceress herself.
In this public garden, only the Kendo Club dared to contest their territory.
“Fine, I’ll join you.” Qingshamu nodded in agreement.
The Kendo Club erupted in cheers and applause, welcoming her warmly.
The sudden noise immediately drew disdainful glances from the Tea Party ladies, their expressions displeased.
But the swordsmen of the Kendo Club glared right back.
The mutual dislike between the two factions was obvious—they were destined for a showdown.
