Chapter 13: Teaching Begins Tomorrow

Just as Semilis was utterly perplexed,

she suddenly felt the hem of her dress being grabbed by a small hand.

She turned her head and saw a pair of big eyes staring intently at her.

A wave of speechlessness washed over her.

“Uh… okay, I get it, I won’t hold it against you!”

“Ahem, stand still in front of me.”

Hushrim looked at Semilis suspiciously, but her small hand still clung to the hem of Semilis’s dress.

“Stand still, I’m going to give you a Blessing!”

Upon hearing this, Hushrim finally let go and stood right in front of Semilis.

Semilis didn’t intend to mess around either; her expression turned serious for once, and the wings on her back emitted a dazzling radiance.

Then she placed her right hand on top of Hushrim’s head.

“Oh chosen one, I bestow upon you the supreme Blessing in the name of the Fairy King.

You shall be beloved by the world, and protection will forever walk with you.”

A radiant, multicolored light spread from Semilis’s right hand and enveloped Hushrim’s entire body.

Warmth and comfort flooded through Hushrim, causing her to close her eyes involuntarily.

“Flames shall burn for you!

Waters shall flow for you!

Wild winds shall surround you!

The earth shall guard you!

Light shall shine upon you!

Darkness shall conceal you!

The power of Null shall be granted to you!”

As Semilis softly intoned these words, Hushrim felt wave after wave of strange power entering her body, her insides undergoing some wondrous transformation.

After a long moment,

the changes settled into calm.

The glow around Semilis dimmed, and she slowly withdrew her right hand, looking somewhat weak.

Indeed, bestowing so many Blessings at once was still too much; she might fall into a deep sleep once she returned.

When the Blessing ended, Hushrim opened her eyes and carefully moved her limbs but noticed no immediate changes.

However, she still remembered the sensation of some mysterious power altering her body and assumed the transformation was genuine.

“Semilis, what’s wrong? Are you alright?”

Seeing Semilis’s unusual state, Hushrim quickly asked.

“Ah… it’s nothing, really, I’m fine!”

Semilis slapped her cheek and pulled herself together.

“Are you sure?”

Hushrim was a bit doubtful.

“Really! Enough about that, let me check the results of the Blessing first.”

With that, Semilis’s eyes once again revealed the Magic Array that had appeared before.

“What will it be like… Honestly, I’m not sure if the soul can contain seven Blessings at once.”
