After confirming Blazing Flame’s dorm and her roommates’ situation, Pandora didn’t ask any more questions and instead rested her head on Blazing Flame’s shoulder.
It wasn’t until Blazing Flame brought her to the undeveloped forest near A City Third University that Pandora jumped down from her shoulder and began circling at her feet.
“Pandora, can you help me check what time it is now?”
Blazing Flame shook her hands, stretching her body, and began warming up using the methods she had learned.
Since Pandora said doing things that made her happy could accelerate Magic consumption, she decided to give it a try.
“Sure, no problem.” Pandora glanced at the position of the sun, then casually scratched the ground with her claw and replied, “It’s almost 12:30 noon. I remember this is the time you humans eat, right? Aren’t you going to eat?”
“I’m still in Transformation State; eating now won’t make me feel full,” Blazing Flame said while finishing her last warm-up movement. “I’m going to run a few laps here. Remind me in an hour, I still have to go back to school for class this afternoon.”
“What are you going to do?” Pandora looked at her suspiciously.
“Run, what else?” Blazing Flame said matter-of-factly. “I’ve always wanted to try running while transformed to see what it feels like. I wonder if it’ll be as easy as a superhuman breaking all the world records. I’ve been looking forward to it for a long time but never had the chance to try.”
“Is there really any need to test that?” Pandora didn’t understand why Blazing Flame wanted to do such a pointless thing. “Without Superhuman Power and speed, how could you even be called a Magic Girl?”
“Of course there is.” Blazing Flame rolled her eyes. “If I can break all the world records, it means I’ve transcended all humans and become an immortal ultimate being.”
“Are you a kid? Whatever, as long as you’re happy.” Pandora said, then turned to find a shady spot and lay down. “Go ahead. I’ll call you in an hour.”
“Alright. I’m off then.”
Blazing Flame responded, steadying her breath, bending her body, placing her hands on the ground, and assuming a starting position while silently counting down in her mind.
The moment the countdown ended, she shifted her weight forward and surged ahead.
“Ah, such an energetic Magic Girl,” Pandora sighed, watching Blazing Flame instantly vanish from sight. “How long has it been since I last saw a Magic Girl like this?”

At two in the afternoon, inside the teaching building of A City Third University, Xu Wenxing sat in a back-row seat, rubbing his throbbing head, panting heavily.
The dull sound of leather shoes stepping on the floor came from behind Xu Wenxing as a young male teacher with glasses entered through the back door, walking past him.
“Are you feeling unwell? Want to go to the infirmary?” The teacher noticed Xu Wenxing’s unusual state and asked with concern.
“Class Advisor?” Xu Wenxing turned to look at the male teacher beside him. “Uh, no need. I played games too late last night and didn’t sleep well. I’ll just rest early today.”
“Don’t stay up late so often; it’s bad for your health. Two years ago, a student in our school ended up in the emergency room from staying up late. It really scared the Headmaster and Professors,” the young teacher pushed up his glasses and smiled. “By the way, where’s your roommate? Why isn’t he here? Don’t you usually attend classes together?”
“He… had something to do. He left the campus after the morning class but said he’d come back for the afternoon class. He should be here soon,” Xu Wenxing explained after a moment’s hesitation.
“There are only two minutes until class officially starts. Will he make it back in time?” The teacher smiled. “Pay attention in class and don’t fall asleep. There’s a lot of theory to cover this session.”
“Okay…” Xu Wenxing nodded in response.
The young teacher glanced at Xu Wenxing once more to confirm he was just tired, then left him alone and walked toward the podium to start the class.
Xu Wenxing stared at his phone, watching the time tick by, silently worrying about Lu Ren’s usual attendance.
“Ren ge won’t still be asleep, indulging in the comforts of a rich woman, will he? That’s quite the lifestyle,” Xu Wenxing thought to himself.
Time passed minute by minute until it was officially class time.
“Ding ling ling~ Ding ling ling~ Ding ling ling~”
The noisy bell echoed through the corridor, but there was still no sign of Lu Ren at the classroom door.
Xu Wenxing shook his head helplessly, assuming Lu Ren was still sleeping and wouldn’t make it back in time.
But out of roommate solidarity, Xu Wenxing planned to take pictures of the PPT slides and jot down the Class Advisor’s notes to help Lu Ren later.
Swoosh——
At the very next second after the bell rang, a shadow dashed into the classroom.
It was Lu Ren.
“…Find a seat quickly. Class is about to start,” the young teacher smiled at Lu Ren and urged him.
“Mm!”
Lu Ren nodded firmly, then jogged over to Xu Wenxing’s side, dropped everything he was carrying onto the desk, placed his right hand over his heart, and panted heavily.
“Yo, Ren ge. I thought you’d still be sleeping on that rich woman’s bed,” Xu Wenxing teased, relieved to see Lu Ren made it safely back.
“Don’t say it. I almost died from the exhaustion,” Lu Ren said after catching his breath sitting in his chair, complaining to Xu Wenxing.
“What happened? The rich woman wouldn’t let you leave? Or did she use steel wool on you?” Xu Wenxing asked curiously.
“Not that bad. She’s just been really upset lately, almost drove me crazy,” Lu Ren tugged at his clothes, wiped the sweat off his forehead with the back of his hand, and asked, “Did the Class Advisor take attendance yet? Did he say anything?”
“No, no attendance yet, and the Class Advisor hasn’t said much either. He just told me not to stay up late and asked where you’d gone,” Xu Wenxing answered truthfully.
“Alright, that puts my mind at ease.”
Hearing Xu Wenxing’s words, Lu Ren’s breathing gradually steadied, and he visibly relaxed.
He looked down at his large palm and couldn’t help but smile.
It really felt like a dream just now…
Breaking all the world records effortlessly, turning all impossibilities into reality.
Is this the Power a Magic Girl has?
Choosing this path was definitely the right decision.
Only with this kind of Superhuman Power could he protect the people he wanted to protect.
Right now, Lu Ren was truly glad to possess such Power.
